Porsche 997 GT3 RS Facelift

Porsche was caught testing a facelifted model of it’s 997 GT3RS prototype just outside of the Nürburgring race track, Germany. In addition to the new LED lights that will be offered across the 911 range, the GT3 RS also features new front & rear bumper design, with larger intakes at the corners of front bumper, lightweight fixed rear wing, revised suspension (PASM), larger side mirrors, refreshed head lights and thinner glass for further weight savings.

Porsche will also work under the hood to give the GT3 RS enough power to compete with models like Nissan GT-R V-Spec and Lexus LF-A by giving it a power increase of about 15 - 20 bhp.

Few days back Lexus and Nissan test drivers were caught racing new Lexus LF-A and Nissan GT-R V-Spec at Nürburgring and now the Porsche GT3 RS. Looking at this trend we can definately hope for more action in near future.
